Theme 2 (Hobbies and leisure time) - summary

Here is the summary of theme 2 prepared by Aneta from group 1 :-)

The second theme we talked about was “Hobbies and leisure time”. Having watched the films about the topic that all the countries prepared, we were able to know the similarities and differences between countries which take part in the project. 

In my country we spoke about several main things which are important for our generation, for example: sports - such as football (which is not seen only as a sport to be played, but also as a reason for watching TV), riding a bicycle (which turned out to be the most interesting for girls from our Polish Comenius Club), swimming, running etc. Another activity which turned out to be very important in our lives is music, in any form: some of us play instruments, some go to concerts and some are simply fascinated by the work of other musicians. It is also worth mentioning that we like to read books. Also we are very helpful, we help our parents with the housework, or like our friend Agata, we look after our younger sisters/ brothers. Of course, in our groups we can find a lot of talented people. For example, Natalia, whose unique hobby is belly dancing and Ania. Remember the beautiful drawings that Ania made? She is a true artist, not just in this field. I addition, we spend a lot of time watching films, surfing the Intermet using other media but more information on this topic will appear in theme 3. Now some information about our parents and their leisure time activities. It was completely different. Our parents spent most of their time outdoors: on trips with friends or helping on the farm. Of course, they also went to the cinema or had fun at parties, practiced sports or read books, but they didn’t have the Internet or computers. Our parents took advantage of their free time in a different way, in my opinion, more useful. Okay, that’s all for now, "see you" in Theme 3.
